Store Cattle on Bolfracks Estate by Aberfeldy in Highland Perthshire

Bolfracks organic store fed cattle are Limousin and Simmental cross heifers bulled with the opposite breed. The calves are reared at Bolfracks and are not given growth promoters and do not have any veterinary medicines used on them routinely, except when their health and welfare would be affected not to do so. Feeding straw and silage for winter store cattle is also organic and produced on the estate.

Organic Store Cattle are grown on by other organic farmers where as Prime Fat cattle are grown at Bolfracks ready for the abattoir.
