Athel and Annie Price inherited the Bolfracks estate after it had already been in Athels family for two generations

As well as the farms and forestry they also inherited the fabulous walled gardens.

Annie Price is committed to maintaining the garden in line with Douglas Hutchison’s original plans. The garden faces north with fabulous views over the Tay valley. Open to the public through the summer season this plantsman’s garden has many interesting features from springtime through to autumn.

Athel Price is committed to modern organic farming principles for Bolfracks Estate and is proud of the very fine quality organic beef cattle and lamb produced by the Estate. Forestry is another area in which sustainable practice is important. Plantations of birch and native softwoods are managed for specialist uses, timber production is commercial with Biomass Fuel a new development.

Environmental Commitment

Athel and Annie Price are committed to managing Bolfracks Estate using the environmental best practices so the Estates special environment is preserved for the enjoyment for future generations.
